The RI-PM160D is a diesel-powered flat-die pellet mill for farmers and small feed businesses who want to produce pellets without a large industrial plant. It is supplied with four interchangeable dies (2.5, 4, 6 and 8 mm) and four internal rollers. Die size is chosen for the animal or fuel use: 2.5 mm for smaller feed, 4 mm for poultry, 6 mm for cattle, sheep and goats, and 8 mm for larger livestock feed or biomass. Diesel drive means the mill can run where electricity is unavailable or unreliable. Suitable materials include maize, soybean meal, grass, straw, rice husk, sawdust and other dry biomass. Stated output is about 160 kg/h; actual throughput depends on the recipe, moisture and pellet diameter.
